An exciting opportunity has opened for a Junior Smart Building Consultant to join a growing consultancy delivering innovative smart building and digital infrastructure projects across commercial real estate, data centres, and high-performance buildings.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their career looking to break into the rapidly expanding smart buildings industry. You'll work alongside experienced consultants and engineers on projects that combine technology, energy efficiency, data analytics, and building automation to create smarter, more sustainable environments.

Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of smart building and digital transformation projects Assisting with building technology strategies and smart building assessments Working with systems such as BMS, IoT platforms, analytics tools, and integrated building technologies Helping analyse building performance and operational data Supporting client meetings, workshops, and technical documentation Collaborating with project teams across engineering, sustainability, and technology disciplines Learning how modern buildings integrate automation, connectivity, and user experience

Desired Experience

Degree qualified in Engineering, Building Services, Smart Buildings, Sustainability, Technology, or a related field Strong interest in smart buildings, digital engineering, IoT, or building technology Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and develop within a consultancy environment Understanding of BMS, HVAC, energy systems, or automation is beneficial but not essential Motivated, curious, and driven personality
