The Council is currently in a position where, due to internal procedures within DESNZ, it does not have access to external legal or consultant support for the Sheffield Heat Network Partner tender. Whilst a procurement exercise is underway to re-establish these services, there will be a short interim period where such support is unavailable. As a result, there have been delays in responding to Clarification Questions during this period. Due to this, a three weeks of additional time has been added to the process. Clarification Question deadline is now the 5th June 2026 and the Tender Return Deadline is the 19th June 2026.
