Established in 1934, VolkerBrooks supply clients across the globe with a range of construction and marine plant and equipment for hire and sale. VolkerBrooks is a division of VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, one of the UK’s leading construction and engineering contractors.

Owning the largest for hire stock of Linkflote™ and Uniflote modular pontoons in the UK; our versatile, road transportable and easily handled modular floatation pontoons give an effective and economical solution to meet the most varied of needs.

VolkerBrooks also offers an extensive range of construction plant and equipment, alongside bespoke temporary and permanent site accommodation.

Our services

Linkflote™ pontoons

We have the largest for hire and sale stock of Linkflote™ and Uniflote modular pontoons in the UK, with a fleet consisting of over 200 standard pontoon units, complete with a full range of pontoon accessories.

Our stock is shipped around the globe and we have supplied accommodation units and Linkflote™ pontoons to The Falkland Islands, the Netherlands and Norway, for example. We have also worked with global brands, such as Airbnb, eBay and the Thames River Trust.

With an expert in-house design team, our bespoke solutions meet all needs and requirements.

Site accommodation

VolkerBrooks supply and install a variety of site accommodation across the UK and various sectors, including rail, marine, defence and nuclear.

From site accommodation to catering vans, VolkerBrooks’ ‘one stop shop’ approach means that we offer a full turnkey service for our clients, from installation and engineering support, through to temporary works design and full facilities management and maintenance.

With jacklegs, modular and semi-permanent modular buildings available for immediate hire, our dedicated team guides clients throughout the process, from enquiry to completion. This guarantees the end product fully meets the client’s specification.

Alongside the accommodation units themselves, we can also supply our ECOdesk360 - the 100% recyclable cardboard desk. The desks are 100% environmentally-friendly and recyclable, cost-effective, sturdy and contemporary in design and have a shelf-life of up to 10 years.
