Khaja brings more than 25 years of international aviation experience, having led large-scale programmes and initiatives for major airports including Heathrow, London City Airport and Fraport Greece. He joins Egis from Arcadis, where he served as denior director for the aviation sector, and is also a board member of the British Aviation Group.
Khaja will work directly with airport clients and stakeholders to identify where the firm鈥檚 capabilities can deliver measurable impact, supporting long-term programmes spanning expansion, operational performance, sustainability and capacity optimisation.聽
The appointment reflects Egis鈥檚 wider strategy to grow its presence in the UK and Irish airport sector and its increased commitment to the industry, as operators respond to rising passenger demand, decarbonisation requirements and the need to optimise existing infrastructure.
