罢丑别听奥别惫别濒驳别尘听plant will be able to take post-industrial PIR (polyisocyanurate) insulation board production waste and transform into high-quality recycled polyol, a key raw material used to manufacture new PIR boards.
This enables the company to convert PIR offcuts and production scrap from all its manufacturing sites back into usable polyol for new products. This closed loop delivers a significant reduction in waste, Recticel says, lowering dependence on raw materials, and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
The facility is designed to recycle up to 4,000t of PIR waste annually, contributing to a substantial reduction in the company鈥檚 environmental footprint. The recycled polyol produced is expected to deliver a 30鈥�50% reduction in CO鈧� emissions compared with conventional virgin polyol.
Boards produced using the recycled material will be available from all of Recticel plants, including in the UK.
