The dealer, with roots in Reading, has six depots in south England, with four dedicated to construction equipment. The new Salisbury depot is located close to a previous site.
The new branch has new offices, with showroom space and additional work areas for regional sales staff. The extensive parts storage facilities are four times larger than at the previous location and the service workshop boasts four full length bays, double the number at the former depot. All of the bays are capable of housing Kubota鈥檚 new 14t U145 excavator. With three full time technicians on site, the company is actively recruiting additional service staff.
The new location is well placed to cover a region from Lyme Regis to Bognor Regis along the south coast and as far north as Marlborough and Newbury. All of the technicians provide mobile field service, ensuring that customer equipment can be maintained, whatever the location.
鈥淭he opening of our new Salisbury depot marks a significant milestone for Lister Wilder,鈥 said managing director Charlie King.
鈥淪ince taking on the area in 2023, we鈥檝e invested over 拢1m to ensure we can fully support construction customers across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. With 60 mobile service engineers, 拢3m of parts stock, inter-depot deliveries and factory-trained, knowledgeable staff, we鈥檙e ideally positioned to support our growing customer base.
鈥淲e鈥檙e also excited to unveil Kubota鈥檚 new 14t excavators and compact tracked loaders. With machines sold in our very first week at the new site, it鈥檚 clear that these products are opening up exciting new markets for us.鈥
